Official: Five teenagers of Nigerian descent sign deals with Norwich City…..

Prior to the 2024–2025 season, Norwich City, a Championship club, has inked contracts with five youngsters of Nigerian heritage.

Three Golden Eaglets players—Victor Madu, Finlay Oligbo, and Oser Okpiabhele—were among the new academy scholars named by the Canaries on Wednesday.

In their last year as schoolboys, the midfielders all made their Canaries U18 Premier League debuts.

The players stated above have been promoted to the Norwich City U18 squad permanently for the upcoming season, and they plan to sign their first professional contracts after they turn 17.

The 18-year-old German-Nigerian right-back Harmony Okwumo, who left Charlton Athletic when his contract expired, is a free agent that the Canaries added to their development group.

After a successful trial, Okwumo signed professional contracts with Norwich City.

He served as Charlton Athletic’s right back and right wing-back for four years, proving his versatility in the field.

The highly regarded striker Ken Aboh is the fifth player from Nigeria to sign a contract with Norwich City.

Aboh, who is currently 19 years old, has committed to the team through June 30, 2027, with a club option for the 2027–2028 campaign.

In the 2023–2024 campaign, he made his Canaries debut by playing off the bench in a 5-0 victory over Rotherham.
