CONGRATULATIONS: Ryan Blaney and wife welcome new child…
Ryan Blaney supports the return of NASCAR to Chicagoland Speedway.
Ryan Blaney believes that Chicagoland is the most deserving location for a NASCAR Cup race. The NASCAR Cup paddock is preparing to race at Iowa Speedway for the first time since its construction in 2006. This is a track that many stock car racing fans are eager to see, along with several other venues that deserve a spot in the Cup series. While drivers are excited to race in Iowa, they also have other tracks in mind that they would like to see Cup races return to.
For the defending Cup champion, Chicagoland is the top choice, rather than a street race. Ryan Blaney, a driver for Team Penske Racing, believes that no other track deserves a place in the Cup series. He has called on NASCAR to bring back the beloved track and revitalize it.
Chicagoland Speedway has not hosted a race in recent seasons. The last time NASCAR raced at this track was in 2019. From 2001 to 2019, it hosted Cup and Xfinity races, while the Truck Series race took place there from 2009 to 2019. Blaney hopes to secure his first victory at this track.
