Lindstein also won silver at the 2022 U-18 World Championship, silver the following year and silver again at the 2022 Hlinka Gretzky Cup.

A puck-moving defenseman, Lindstein is an offensive defenseman who combines speed and skill. Against his own age group, Lindstein has shown promise as a dangerous, puck-rushing defender. As he continues to build up experience against men, Lindstein has shown more willingness to get creative and try different things with the puck on his stick to make him more dynamic.

The Blues previously signed top 2023 pick Dalibor Dvorsky to a three-year, entry-level contract, while Otto Stenberg, the team’s other first-rounder last year, has yet to sign a contract.

The Montreal Canadiens will be without head coach Martin St. Louis for the foreseeable future. St. Louis left the Habs recently to attend to a family matter. General manager Kent Hughes has recently commented on the situation. However, there is still no timeline for when St. Louis will return to the bench
