The Celtics listed three rotation players on their injury report for Wednesday’s showdown against the Bucks as they go for their 7th straight win. Jrue Holiday (AC joint sprain), Jaylen Brown (ankle sprain) and Sam Hauser (ankle sprain) are all questionable for the contest at TD Garden. The Celtics will have Jayson Tatum (ankle) and Al Horford (toe) back in the lineup after the duo missed Monday’s win over the Pistons.

Holiday also missed Monday’s win over the Pistons and the team could be exercising some caution with the veteran who has played bigger minutes in recent weeks. The good news on this report involves Hauser already being upgraded to questionable after suffering what looked like a nasty ankle sprain on Sunday night in Washington. X-rays on the ankle came back negative though and he’s clearly trending back towards being on the floor sooner rather than later. Brown returned from a two-game absence in Monday’s win over the Pistons but appeared to suffer an ankle sprain during his 31-point performance.

The Bucks could also be close to full strength for the matchup. Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable with left hamstring soreness while Marjon Beauchamp (back spasms) is probable. Milwaukee has won two games in a row since the return of Khris Middleton but they still remain 10 games behind Boston for the No. 1 seed in the East. The Celtics could clinch homecourt advantage for the playoffs as soon as next week if they beat the Bucks on Wednesday night.

Boston will be riding a six-game winning streak into the contest, giving them a 54-14 record with just 14 games remaining in the regular season. The Celtics have split their two matchups with the Bucks so far this season.

Boston and Milwaukee tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday night in a nationally televised showdown on ESPN.
