Packers Defender Taunts Bears After Sunday’s Win
The Green Bay Packers were almost a lock to make the playoffs, but they still needed to beat the Chicago Bears to make sure nothing could stand in their way.
Ironically, that was actually great news for Matt LaFleur’s team.
Even though this is one of the most passionate rivalries in the National Football League — and all of sports — it doesn’t feel like a rivalry anymore, as the Packers have completely owned the Bears for quite a while now.
That’s why Packers OLB Preston Smith took to Twitter to taunt his lifelong rivals after the win, stating that he just can’t lose to them after starting his career 12-0 vs. the Bears.
We just don’t lose to the Bears…I’m 12-0,” Smith said
The Packers have now won ten straight vs. the Bears, with Aaron Rodgers taking the rivalry a step forward by letting them know that he owned them.
The Bears had a chance to knock out the Packers and spoil the first season of the Jordan Love era, but Justin Fields failed to move the chains and they were never an actual threat to pull off the upset at Lambeau Field.
