Maxx Crosby Wants to Stay with Raiders for Entire NFL Career; Inspired by Kobe Bryant

After spending his first five seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, Maxx Crosby is ready to commit to the team for the rest of his career.

The defensive end said he wants to model his career after NBA stars Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan, who won all of their championships for one team.

“The guys that inspired me are the Kobes and the Jordans,” Crosby said on theĀ Jim Rome Show. “The guys that stayed at the same place and won in the same place. No offense to LeBron [James] and those dudes. I won’t give them some heat, but took the easy road traveled. That’s not the way I look at it…I’m going to be a Raider for life.”

In today’s NFL landscape where players take off in free agency to either get a better contract or set themselves up for an easier championship, staying with one team through an entire career is somewhat rare.

If Crosby not only stays in Las Vegas but also brings the team a Super Bowl victory, it’s safe to say he’ll be a Raiders legend forever.

Crosby is coming off the best season of his career, notching 90 tackles, 14.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two passes deflected. He’ll look to continue improving next season to get closer to his goal of winning a Super Bowl for the team that drafted him.
