Breaking:The Steelers keeps impressing as two new players joins

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers will add two veterans back to their defense for their Wild Card matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Before making the trip up north, the team has called up Myles Jack and Eric Rowe to the active/inactive roster.

Both Jack and Rowe have been on the Steelers’ gameday roster for the last three weeks, being called up from the practice squad. In that time, they’ve played major roles in filling in for injured starters like Minkah Fitzpatrick and Elandon Roberts. Still, with the return of Fitzpatrick and Roberts, both veterans are expected to play significant snaps on defense.

In three games for the Steelers, Rowe has accumulated 29 tackles, one interception, two passes defended and a forced fumble. Jack has recorded 17 tackles, one tackle for loss and a sack

In the regular season, teams are only capable of elevating players three times before having to sign them to the active roster. However, in the postseason, there are no limits on how many times a player can be called up

Pittsburgh will have almost a fully healthy defense in Buffalo, getting Fitzpatrick and Damontae Kazee back at safety and having Roberts ready to go despite dealing with a pectoral injury. Their only missing piece will be T.J. Watt, who is out with a knee injury.
