Breaking: Netflix Has Agreed To Do A Full Documentary on All Legends of Missouri Tigers – This Is Massive

The news sent shockwaves through Columbia, Missouri. Fans flooded social media, alumni lit up group chats, and former players’ phones rang nonstop. For years, the Missouri Tigers football program had produced legends—some household names, others cult heroes—but they had never been given the spotlight they truly deserved. Now, that was about to change.

Netflix, the streaming giant known for its gripping sports documentaries, had reached a deal to produce a multi-episode series chronicling the greatest moments, players, and coaches in Missouri Tigers history. The documentary, titled Mizzou Made: The Legends of the Tigers, promised never-before-seen footage, exclusive interviews, and deep dives into the unforgettable moments that shaped the program.

At the heart of the project was Chase Daniel, the former star quarterback who had led Missouri to national prominence in the late 2000s. “It’s surreal,” he said in a press release. “Mizzou has a story worth telling, and I’m honored to be part of it.” Other Tiger greats, from Kellen Winslow to Jeremy Maclin and Drew Lock, had already signed on to participate.

The documentary wouldn’t just be about football, though. It would cover the program’s rise through different conferences, the impact of legendary coach Gary Pinkel, and even the unforgettable “Fifth Down Game” against Colorado in 1990. Iconic matchups, bowl victories, and heartbreaking near-misses would all be revisited with a level of depth never seen before.

Netflix planned to release the series in late 2025, and Missouri fans were already buzzing. The Columbia economy was set to boom with tourism and renewed national attention. Meanwhile, current Tigers players saw it as a recruiting goldmine.

For years, Missouri had fought for respect in the national spotlight. Now, with a full-scale documentary showcasing its greatest legends, the Tigers’ legacy was finally getting the recognition i

t deserved.
