Breaking: See what Steven Kwan did after welcoming twin babies with girlfriend

It was a chilly November evening when Steven Kwan, the energetic outfielder for the Cleveland Guardians, stepped out of the hospital room for a brief moment. His heart was pounding faster than it ever did at the plate. Inside, his girlfriend, Rachel, was resting, holding not one but two tiny miracles in her arms. Steven still couldn’t believe it—they were officially a family of four.

They had found out about the twins only a few months earlier, during what was supposed to be a routine ultrasound. Steven had been away on a road trip but joined the appointment via video call. The shock on his face was clear when the doctor pointed out two tiny heartbeats. He dropped his bat in the dugout when he got the news, earning a cheer from his teammates who thought it was just another Steven Kwan clutch moment.

Today, seeing his twins, he realized no walk-off hit could ever compare to this feeling. He walked back into the room, where Rachel was smiling at him through her exhaustion.

“Come meet your daughter,” she whispered, her eyes sparkling.

He took a deep breath, gently cradling the tiny girl in his hands. She had a mop of dark hair like him and a calm, curious gaze like her mother. He softly kissed her forehead and then turned to the other newborn—his son—who was already wrapped tightly in a Guardians-themed blanket, a little nod to the team that had become part of their family, too.

“What should we name them?” Rachel asked, looking at Steven with a mix of love and exhaustion.

“I was thinking of Lily for her. It’s your favorite flower,” he said, voice thick with emotion. “And for him, maybe something that’ll bring us a bit of luck—how about Jack?”

Rachel grinned, nodding. “Lily and Jack. I love it.”

As he looked at his twins, Steven realized he was now part of a different kind of team—one where the stakes were higher, and the victories sweeter. He knew there would be sleepless nights and endless diaper changes, but he couldn’t wait to take on this new challenge.

“Welcome to the world, Lily and Jack Kwan,” he whispered, pulling Rachel and the babies into a gentle hug. The stadium lights would be waiting for him next season, but for now, he had found his favorite place in the world—right here, in this small hospital room, with his family.
