Cornwall sign Bradford trio as Nichol joins Swinton
Cornwall has returned Coby Nichol has signed a one-year loan with the Championship team Swinton Lions.
The 21-year-old, who originally signed with the team from the Bradford Bulls in 2022, appeared in 15 games this season after playing 17 times the previous one.
Nichol’s exit coincides with the signing of Bailey Arnold, Waldimar Matahwa, and Harry Gray by Cornwall on a season-long loan from Bradford.
Cornwall manager Mike Abbott stated on the club website, “We have always said that we would never stand in the way of any player wanting to have a crack at a higher level.”

“They have been playing regularly for the Bradford reserve side so this step up to playing senior football is beneficial for both us and the players,” Abbott said.

The trio follow Jacob Bateman and Jamie Gill, who joined Cornwall on loan earlier this month.
