According to CW39 Houston, the Houston Rockets will host their second annual back-to-school celebration tomorrow.

The Rockets have always been involved in the community; I remember a flurry of activities during the James Harden era — and they continue to engage with their fans despite the franchise’s shifting direction.

This Saturday, August 10, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Central Time, the Sunnyside Community Center, located at 3502 Bellfort Avenue, will host the back-to-school celebration.

In addition to a host of other activities like face painting, inflatable games, free haircuts, health screenings, and school supply giveaways, the Rockets are hosting a youth basketball clinic where kids can meet Jae’Sean Tate.
