UTSA football QB lands perfect NFL Opportunity…..

Nick Booker-Brown, Corey Lucius removed from UTSA football team after arrests

UTSA defensive lineman Nick Booker-Brown and linebacker Corey Lucius Jr. have been removed from the Roadrunners football team following their arrests last month on charges of aggravated robbery.

Coach Jeff Traylor and athletic director Lisa Campos announced the decision in a joint statement Wednesday morning. Booker-Brown, a redshirt junior, and Lucius, a redshirt freshman, had been serving indefinite suspensions since the arrests.

“Nick Booker-Brown and Corey Lucius Jr. are no longer members of the UTSA football program,” Campos and Traylor said in the statement. “We have high expectations of conduct for all of our student-athletes, coaches and staff, and we will never compromise on those expectations. We are looking forward to the start of preseason practice on July 31 with an excellent group of young men in our football program.”
