LSU football has added a commitment from one of the 10 best wide receivers in the nation
Four-star wide receiver Derek Meadows has committed to LSU football, he announced on Saturday.
Meadows is the No. 10 wide receiver and No. 68 recruit in the nation in the Class of 2025, according to 247Sports Composite. He attended Bishop Gorman High in Las Vegas and is the No. 1 recruit in Nevada.
Meadows, 6-foot-5 and 200 pounds, chose the Tigers over Georgia, Alabama, Michigan and Notre Dame.
Meadows is the 18th recruit to commit to LSU’s 2025 class and the second wide receiver, joining four-star wide receiver TaRon Francis. He is also the sixth top-100 prospect to commit to LSU from the Class of 2025.
The Tiger have landed six commitments from the Class of 2025 this month, including five-star cornerback DJ Pickett, four-star edge rusher Damien Shanklin, four-star defensive lineman Zion Williams, four-star defensive lineman Brandon Brown and three-star safety Jhase Thomas.
LSU has the No. 3 recruiting class in the nation following Meadows’ commitment, according to the 247Sports Composite. The Tigers trail only Ohio State and Alabama in the rankings.
