Steven Wilson Announces The Overview Tour; How To Get Tickets
Steven Wilson has confirmed plans for a massive new tour.
The artist has built a unique catalogue, across his work with The Porcupine Tree, and his lengthy solo catalogue. Building a mammoth cult audience, Steven Wilson shared his most recent album ‘The Harmony Codex’ last year.
At the time, CLASH wrote: “10 new tracks, and 65 minutes of groundbreaking music. Recorded in a small studio tucked away inside the garage of a North London townhouse, the process featured a number of outside voices, including Jack Dangers of Meat Beat Manifesto and Interpol’s Sam Fogarino.”
Now he’s going back out on tour. Steven Wilson has laid out plans for the Overview tour, his first full tour in seven years. The shows take place in 2025, and contain nights across the UK and eleven other European countries.
Billed as a full audio-visual experience, it follows his ambitious 2018 solo tour, which saw Steven Wilson play 145 dates in 30 countries.
Oh, and there’s a new album incoming – it’s called ‘The Overview’ and lands next yea.
Steven Wilson comments…
I’m thrilled to be able to announce a Steven Wilson tour for 2025, my first for seven years. The Overview Tour will be an audio-visual experience based around a forthcoming new release of the same name: a space themed album that features just two very long pieces. I’ll also be playing music from ‘The Harmony Codex’ for the first time as well as songs from all of my previous records. I’m incredibly happy to be performing again with my inspirational solo band, and we have a lot of lost time to make up. I look forward to seeing you at what will be an epic evening!
