Five remaining questions for Iowa State football in 2025 recruiting class
Iowa State football is looking to continue adding to the 2025 recruiting class as the NCAA recruiting dead period begins on Monday.
The Cyclone coaching staff opted not to host any prospects for an official visit between June 21-23 after successfully hosting all of their top priorities on two official visit weekends – June 7-9 and June 14-16.
Director of Player Personnel Derek Hoodjer and his recruiting team helped Iowa State bring 21 players to Iowa State’s campus. Of the 21 players to officially visit Ames this month, 11 have issued a public commitment to playing for the ‘Clones in the Big 12. However, it’s worth noting six players entered their official visits already committed to playing at Iowa State.
This month, Iowa State landed committed from Karon Brookins, Ryver Peppers, Mason Ellens and BJ Carter to join an existing class of Alex Manske, Trey Verdon, Will Tompkins, Jack Shaffer, Charlie Woleben and Jack Limbaugh. Iowa State now has 11 commits in the 2025 recruiting class, which ranks close to No. 50 in the nation.
