Western Kentucky was one of the favorites to win the Conference USA Championship going into 2023. The Hilltoppers may have fallen short of those expectations, but they still went 8-5 overall and 5-3 against CUSA teams.

Now WKU has to find a way to continue to win games without stars like quarterback Austin Reed and wide receiver Malachi Corley. But the Hilltoppers have already been active in the transfer portal, picking up players like quarterback T.J. Finley from Texas State.
