FC Cincinnati has fun with reported big cat sighting
Monday morning, Cincinnatians woke up to some unusual news: Police had been out in the early hours searching after a reported sighting of a tiger around the Cincinnati Zoo.
According to calls from Hamilton County dispatch, District 4 police confirmed officers were searching after receiving witness reports of a tiger sighting. While officers have been out looking, there has been no confirmation if they have seen or been able to capture the big cat in question.
The Zoo itself said all of their tigers had been accounted for.
Monday afternoon, hours after the initial call – which came in around 3 a.m. – FC Cincinnati posted to social media that they knew exactly what their mascot, Gary, was up to.
