UNC 2025 four-star guard Kamryn Kitchen sets commitment date

Kamryn Kitchen, a four-star prospect in the class of 2025, has set her commitment date. The 5-foot-9 guard from Charolette, NC. will make her college decision Wednesday, June 5 at 1:30 pm ET. Kitchen’s is set to choose between Penn State, Illinois, Louisville, Virginia Tech, Virginia and Marquette

Here’s what the Carolina baseball coach, Vance Honeycutt, Shea Sprague and Dalton Pence said Saturday after the Tar Heels improved to 2-0 in the regional.

Vance Honeycutt supplied his seventh multi-home run game with two bombs that powered North Carolina past LSU 6-2 on Saturday at Boshamer Stadium, as the Tar Heels picked up their second victory in this NCAA Tournament regional.

He went deep off LSU starting pitcher Luke Holman for both homers, with his three-run blast breaking a scoreless tie in the fifth inning. Honeycutt’s solo shot in the seventh put UNC ahead 4-2. The Tar Heels added two insurance runs in the eighth, while the bullpen combo of Ben Peterson and Dalton Pence worked the game’s final 4 2/3 innings, after starter Shea Sprague exited in the fifth inning.

Carolina (44-13) moved one win away from wrapping up the regional title, and will face the winner of the Wofford-LSU elimination game here at 6 p.m. Sunday.
