Uche Ikpeazu to leave Port Vale FC
We can confirm that striker, Uche Ikpeazu, will leave the club upon the expiry of his contract to join Scottish Premiership side, St. Johnstone FC.
Everybody at Port Vale FC would like to thank Uche for his time with the club and wish him the very best of luck with his future.
The media in Scotland says that out of contract Port Vale striker Uche Ikpeazu has been targeted by St Johnstone.
The Scottish club are managed by Craig Levein who had Ikpeazu in his squad when he managed Hearts. The striker was a success for the club, scoring ten times in 55 games for the Scottish Premier side.
Ikpeazu has divided opinion amongst fans since joining the Valiants for a second time in his career. Some have praised Ikpeazu for his power which some League One defences have struggled with but others will point to a scoring record of just one goal in 26 games.
The Valiants reported that Ikpeazu was in talks with the club about his contract situation but he may be tempted by a move North of the border.
