Breaking News:Golden State just recieved sad and terrifying news now
After getting off to a poor start this season, the Golden State Warriors started to heat up in early February and put themselves back into the race for a Western Conference playoff spot.
But more recently, they have lost six of their last nine games, and they’re now in danger of not reaching the play-in tournament.
Per his podcast, Bill Simmons says this season has been “a disaster” for the Warriors and that it’s time for them and their fans to panic, via The Ringer
When Golden State started 19-24, it looked like their dynasty was running on fumes, and there were calls for them to break up their team.
They obviously didn’t do so, but now it seems like those calls are starting again.
While Simmons praised Jonathan Kuminga and rookies Brandin Podziemski and Trayce Jackson-Davis for playing well, he pointed out that Stephen Curry has been shooting very poorly in March since returning from a sprained ankle.
In addition, Klay Thompson simply isn’t the star player he was prior to his ACL and Achilles injuries a few years ago.
The Warriors are currently in 10th place in the Western Conference and are 2.5 games behind the ninth-seeded Los Angeles Lakers, and the Houston Rockets, who are in 11th place and have an eight-game winning streak, are breathing down their necks
