News update:Watch spectacular moments John Gibson and Petr Mrazek get into scrum in INTENSE clash during Ducks-Hawks game

A huge brawl broke out in the third period during the Ducks-Hawks game as tensions boiled over which led to the two goalies, John Gibson and Petr Mrazek getting involved with each other

Fights in the NHL was once again the trending topic on Tuesday as a massive brawl broke out during the Anaheim Ducks and Chicago Blackhawks game. Unlike most fights, even the goaltenders got involved in this one as John Gibson crossed the red center line to have a go at Petr Mrazek.

The Chicago Blackhawks, who recently became the first team team to be eliminated from the playoffs, faced off the Anaheim Ducks while hoping to grab a second straight win following a 7-4 triumph against the Arizona Coyotes. In this game their offence came to life once again and they found themselves leading 6-2 mid-way through the third period.

Perhaps the heavy beating got into the head of the Ducks player which lead to them losing their cool. The brawl erupted when young Mason McTavish took on Jarred Tinordi. The two players would get involved and grabbed each other which quickly escalated the clash.

Few moments later, defenseman Radko Gudas would find himself fighting MacKenzie Entwistle and even landed some punches on the Blackhawks star. This led to goalie Petr Mrazek stepping in to stop the fight.

Seeing this drama unfold away from his net, Ducks goalie John Gibson skated forward and crossed the red line. He would throw away his gloves and grab his counterpart. He though was unable to land any punches as the officials got between them and tried to calm down the situation
