Breaking just now:Omg San Francisco recieve a very sad and terrifying news
The much maligned secondary of the San Francisco 49ers faced an offseason change 2 weeks ago when former Atlanta Falcons 2nd round draft pick, Isaiah Oliver, was cut after just one year with the team.
After losing his job to former 3rd round pick, Ambry Thomas, it seemed like the nickel corner was destined to find a new home come the 2024 offseason.
Fortunately, it seems that a team in need has come a-calling, and Isaiah Oliver has a new team for 2024, per Mike Garofolo.
Moving to the AFC East in what has become arguably the most difficult division in pro football, besides the ultra-competitive AFC North, will be a new adjustment for Oliver.
The former Falcon will compete with Michael Carter II and Brandin Echols for the coveted nickel position opposite established outside corners, Sauce Gardner and DJ Reed.
Oliver, if he wins the job, will also be tasked with covering some of the best receivers in football, including receiving yards leader Tyreek Hill, All Pro, Stefon Diggs, and stud speedster, Jaylen Waddle.
Let’s see how he fares in his new division, and if he can get back to the strong starting form that he showed in his 4 years in Georgia.
