University of Iowa guard Caitlin Clark has been dominating the basketball court all season. Recently, the college senior broke her biggest record yet when she became the NCAA women’s basketball all-time highest scorer during the Hawkeyes’ game against the Michigan Wolverines.
Caitlin, 22, beat the all-time scoring record of 3,527 points, previously held by Kelsea Plum, per Yahoo. And she did it with an impressive three-point shot. “You all knew I was going to shoot a logo three for the record. Come on now,” she said after the game, USA Today reported.
And the cherry on top of the sundae? Caitlin also set the record for the most scores in a single game as well, with 49 points. The Hawkeyes beat the Wolverines 106 to 89.
Caitlin’s celebration continues with a new t-shirt by Nike that she, and likely her teammates and fans, will soon be wearing everywhere.
