Michigan went into North Carolina and signed one of the nation’s top quarterbacks last cycle in Jadyn Davis.

Offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell, who was promoted to his new position this offseason from quarterbacks coach, has casted a wide net of offers to future signal-callers and recently offered another top player from the state of North Carolina.

Quarterback is the most important position on the field in college football and there’s a number of programs with spring practice set to commence with undecided competitions ahead of the 2024 season — including a few national championship contenders. Last season, all four starting quarterbacks in the College Football Playoff were either Heisman finalists or named team MVPs for their respective programs, showcasing their level of play

College football’s transfer portal-rich offseason has featured numerous quarterback signings, some viewed as depth pieces and others penciled in as QB1. We’ll try and go over a few of those here, along with intel on situations involving starters moving on to the 2024 NFL Draft.
