Breaking:see what Josh Heupel said about Jaxson Moi
Elite offenses follow head coach Josh Heupel everywhere he goes. From his playing days at Oklahoma to coordinating the Missouri Tigers to revitalizing UCF and Tennessee, Heupel has put up points in every program he’s been involved with. Those numbers attract premium quarterbacks; Heupel cemented himself as one of the top minds by developing Hendon Hooker into a top-75 NFL Draft selection. He furthered his case by signing blue-chip quarterback Nico Iamaleava.
Now, he’s landed the No. 3 quarterback in America to play his college football at the University of Tennessee. Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre chose the Vols over Alabama on Monday morning, giving the Vols a pledge from two five-star quarterbacks in a matter of three seasons, the first time that’s happened in the modern rankings era.
It’s hard to deny what Heupel has done for quarterbacks. Hooker, McKenzie Milton, Drew Lock, and Joe Milton III all played the best football of their career with Heupel at the helm, and all achieved national success in one way or another. The production on the field speaks for itself, and now they’ve begun to recruit the position better than almost every program in America. Ohio State, Texas, and USC are also premier destinations for quarterback talent, but Tennessee continues to make waves at that spot with Heupel.
