New Report:Previous Alabama DB Lord Minimal II declares move gateway obligation to Florida State

Former Alabama football defensive back Earl Little Jr. announced his transfer to Florida State on Saturday. Little entered the transfer portal following the Crimson Tide’s overtime loss to Michigan in the College Football Playoff semifinals on Monday.

Little announced the news in a social media post, showing himself in an FSU uniform. He spent two seasons in Tuscaloosa.

The cornerback mostly provided depth in the defensive backfield for the Tide this season, finishing the year with two total tackles. He also contributed on special teams.

UA cornerback Terrion Arnold praised Little’s efforts before the season.

Earl is a great playmaker, great teammate, great guy,” Arnold said in August. I’ve seen a lot of different things. I would say the No. 1 thing I’ve seen out of Earl is his maturity. He doesn’t get too high, doesn’t get too low and he just continues to come in here and work every day.
He joined Alabama as a four-star prospect out of American Heritage in Florida. He chose the Crimson Tide over offers from the Seminoles, Southern Cal and Arizona State among others.
