HOUSTON — The Michigan football team will compete for a perfect 15-0 season and a national championship Monday night (7:45 p.m. ET, ESPN), as the Wolverines aim to complete an epic three-year run with their first championship since 1997.

Standing in their way, of course is No. 2 Washington. The Huskies, also 14-0 and fresh off a one-possession victory in the national semifinals, boast the nation’s most prolific passing attack, plenty of experience, and have won 10 straight games by 10 points or less
