Is Tepper Uninterested in Bringing Harbaugh to Carolina?

On Monday night, Jim Harbaugh will coach in the biggest game of the college football season. His Michigan Wolverines will take on the Washington Huskies for the National Championship. For now, that is the sole focus for Harbaugh.

Come, say, next Wednesday, Harbaugh may have his sights on an even bigger prize. The Lombardi trophy.

It is a poorly kept secret across the football landscape that Jim Harbaugh has his sights set on a job in the National Football League. Harbaugh coached the San Francisco 49ers for four years, making three NFC Championship games and a Super Bowl during his tenure.

Many have speculated that the head coaching job in Carolina could be an option for Harbaugh if he does indeed leave Michigan this offseason, but according to a prominent radio host in Charlotte, that seems unlikely.

Travis Hancock, co-host of the Mac and Bone show on 92.7 WFNZ said: “…Harbaugh has interest for the second year in a row but apparently the feeling has not been mutual from the Panthers end.”
