“I am not finished”: Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has tied with NFL legend John Elway for most wins by a Broncos rookie quarterback

 

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix led the Broncos to a 33-10 win over the New Orleans Saints, marking a major rookie milestone. Denver coach Sean Payton played his first game in the Superdome as an opposing head coach, having coached in New Orleans for 16 years and helped rebuild from Hurricane Katrina. Nix leads the Broncos to a 4-3 record, their best record after seven games since 2016. His four wins tied the franchise record for most wins by a rookie quarterback in a season, with former Denver quarterback Drew Lock reaching the record in 2019. NFL legend John Elway also achieved a 4-7 record as a starter.
