Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball team adds two assistant coaches

 

 

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball head coach Jan Jensen on Wednesday announced two additions to the coaching staff.

Randi Henderson will serve as an assistant coach and Sean Sullivan will serve as an assistant coach and general manager.

 

 

 

Henderson had served the last seven season as the head basketball coach at WashU in St. Louis. She also spent nine years as head coach at Coe College from 2006-2015.

Henderson, a Cedar Falls-native, went to the University of Iowa, where she was a three-year starter and team captain for the women’s basketball team.

 

 

 

Sullivan, also a University of Iowa graduate, previously served as the director of player personnel, development and recruiting operations at North Carolina.

He also added the role of assistant coach for the Tar Heels in June 2023. In total, he spent three years with the program.
