Watch: Five-star Tennessee signee Jordan Ross makes big play in Under Armour All-American Game

Tennessee has a couple of crown jewels in their 2024 class, and both appeared in this week’s Under Armour All-American Game. The Volunteers pulled in the 12th ranked class in the country, per 247Sports. That group was led by five-star edge rusher Jordan Ross, who picked Tennessee over offers from Florida, Georgia and Alabama

Ross flashed some of his upside last night during the game, screaming off of the edge and dipping around the corner to come away with a sack. Watch the full play below.

Tennessee has really revamped their pass rush since Josh Heupel, Tim Banks, Rodney Garner and Mike Ekeler came to town. The Volunteers have landed James Pearce, Josh Josephs, Caleb Herring and Chandavian Bradley in the last couple of cycles, and they now back that work by landing the elite Ross.

Per 247Sports, Ross is the 11th ranked player in the country. At 6-5, 233 pounds and with explosion and bend like you saw above, it’s easy to see why. The Tennessee staff has done a really nice job developing Pearce, and Ross could certainly follow in his footsteps over the next couple of seasons.

Four-star running back Peyton Lewis, five-star receiver Mike Matthews, four-star cornerback Kaleb Beasley and three-star safety Edrees Farooq also made appearances in the All-Star event on Wednesday
